First Visit

Intake

Upon entering the office, you will have intake paperwork for you to fill out. The paperwork provides us with your contact information, insurance information (if applicable) and a detailed medical history. It is important for patients to provide all medical, surgical, and pathological information. This is to ensure there are no delays in starting your course of care and attaining your overall health and wellness.

Consultation

Directly after the paperwork process, you will have a consultation with the doctor to review and discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as construct potential treatment options for each individual.

History and Examination

In order to determine what your current complaint is, the doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition. He will perform a number of specialized tests to include any necessary neurologic, pathologic, orthopedic exams, and postural analysis to determine the severity of your condition and if your symptomology is subluxation-based.

Same Day Treatment

Once cleared for chiropractic care, patients will be provided their first treatment consisting of chiropractic manipulation to the primary areas of dysfunction within the spine. To facilitate the chiropractic adjustment, physical and/or soft tissue therapies may be used prior during or after to ensure expected results.

Home Instructions

Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed during this time.

Schedule Your Next Appointment

You will be given a structured follow-up appointment time. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 4-7 days after initial treatment to better supervise your individual rate of recovery.
